Chapter Ten

Grey couldn’t believe it when he heard Emily giggle, and when he saw her beautiful smile, he got choked up.

Darian slapped him on the back. “I told you the little ones are magical.”

“They did in an hour what I’ve been trying to do for a couple of weeks.”

“It’s because they understand each other. It’s like they’re all soul sisters, and there isn’t anything they wouldn’t do for each other.”

“I’d like them to come as much as possible.”

“We’ll set something up. But remember, they broke down the wall. Now you have to keep it down.”

“Oh, I’ll damn well do it.”

Darian called for Larkin. He heard them walk down the stairs as he faced Emily, who stood staring at him.

“What do you think?” he asked.

“Yes. I have friends.”

He smiled and opened his arms. She ran to him, and he cuddled her against his chest. “I know. You’ll have a lot of friends. I guarantee it. Did you have fun?”

“I did.” She looked up at him and set her chin on his chest. “Daddy, can you help me with something?”

He had to swallow the emotion in his throat from her calling him Daddy for the first time before he nodded.

“Can you teach me how to seduce you?”

Jesus Christ. That would have been the last thing he expected. “You want to make love to me?”

She nodded. “I’ve wanted to, but I was afraid to say anything. The girls made me feel good about it.”

“Are you sure you’re ready?”

“I’m more than ready.”

“I’m terrified I’ll scare you,” Grey said.

“I’ve never been afraid of you. I do have to tell you something.”

“Let’s go into the bedroom and talk.” He picked her up, brought her into his bedroom, closed the door, and set her on her feet. Then he sat on the mattress, spread his legs, and pulled her to stand in between them, so they were more eye level. “Okay. You can tell me anything.”

She blushed. “So, I wasn’t raped the way you think I was.”

His heart seemed to stop in his chest.

“Fowler couldn’t … you know … get hard.”

His grip on her hips tightened. “Baby, he might not have penetrated you, but I feel you were raped. Don’t belittle what you’ve gone through. But I’m so very glad he wasn’t able to hurt you that way.” Grey stiffened. “Did he let anyone else do that?”

She shook her head, and her face got even redder. “I had to give a few guys the mouth thing?”

Damn, she was so cute, but he was furious they made her do anything she didn’t want to do. “I bet that was awful.”

She nodded. “They tasted yucky. But, um…”

“What, baby?”

“My friends said it’s different with a daddy, and they all said they think I will like your taste. Can we try and see?”

Fuck. He was going to have a hard time holding back. This might do him in.

“Baby, you can do anything you want. Do you want to taste me right now?”

She nodded.

“How about we get naked? I want to be able to touch you and make you feel good.
